wedding cakes in rincon, puerto rico

There are many decisions to make when planning a wedding: the venue, how many guests you'll have, the theme, the dress, the CAkE!

The word for Cake in Spanish is Bizcocho, so you'll need to know that one for sure!

While you're here, let others help you out with cakes with a trusted wedding planner. Ocasiones, a preferred wedding planner, will help narrow down the amount of work you have to do with out local knowledge. Make it stress free and let them plan it out!

Or, if you're feeling spontaneous, you can always find a local panaderia (bakery) and ask if they do cakes. I've seen some creative masterpieces here so far! You can always go with the flow and have fun with it!

Either way, planning a wedding in Rincon, Puerto Rico is done all the time here, which makes word of mouth and help from others a great way to ensure a wedding that is not only beautiful, but stress-free. (To an extent of course, we can't control the guests!)

hehe.

Stand up Paddle Boards in Rincon, Puerto Rico

Jennifer Aniston enjoying a chill paddle board ride.
A new fitness craze has caught on here in Rincon, Puerto Rico. Stand up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a fun way to get out there in the ocean if surfing may be a little too intense for you. A little bit more relaxing, yet a powerful work out for your entire body, focusing on balance and stability to move yourself into an adventure.

You can either choose to rent some boards and take them out to your nearest beach here in Rincon, just making sure it is a calm day! These things are quite wide and stable, but definitely a challenge on days with swell where only the ones who know what their doing should be out. Calm days on these are awesome though, a perfect way to check out the tropical fish swimming through the bright sea fans, as well as the  endangered coral of the Marine Preserve at Steps Beach.

There is also an option to take a tour down a river on the boards! An excellent option if you're ready to get out of the sun, the tour is in Quebradillas, where the plants take over the shore in a jungle like tangle. Large green iguanas hang in the trees to watch while birds, fish, and wildlife are sure to be spotted skirting about. Bring your water proof camera to catch excellent shots of colors your friends and family will be shocked to see on your trip back home!

Give it a shot! What a fun way to spend your first few days together as husband and wife : )

Coffe Farm Tour in Rincon, Puerto Rico

For the more laid back travelers, there is an option to check out a local coffee plantation here in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

Sandra Farms, located in Adjuntas, just up in the hills of the western side of the island, is a beautiful landscape with owners comitted to growing delicious, sustainable, and eco-friendly coffee. I appreciate the efforts of this group working with the environment in such a harmonious way.

For coffee lovers, their coffee is mountain grown arabica beans that are harvested and roasted in order to find their unique and enjoyable flavor.

Visit the farm and check out the process as a way to immerse yourself in the rolling shady hills of Puerto Rico and even bring home a natural souviner.

And even if you don't make it up to the farm, you can purchase their organic coffee at Banana Dang, a local coffee shop and friendly hang out on route 413 in Rincon.
